Wow! We had such a great time at The Highland's Street Fair
yesterday! Thousands of people came out to this amazing all day fair and we all
had a blast! We had one of our paw pools set up in front of our booth and all
of the lucky dogs were loving it! We saw tons of our current clients, met lots
of new prospective clients and enjoyed the sun! We can not wait for next year's
fair!!

Track Doggie
Since
we opened ULD in 2010, we have been tracking how many dogs enter our doors each
day for daycare. Our first full month of tracking, back in October of 2010, 164
dogs came for daycare. I received "Track Doggie" for March 2013,
which is what we call this report. I was amazed by what I saw. In the month of
March 2013, 1,712 dogs came for daycare!! We also just started recently
tracking how many boarding dogs we have each day as well, and in the month of
March 2013, 1,025 dogs came to board. So a total of 2,737 dogs passed through
our doors in March, an average of 88 dogs a day. I remember when we first
opened I prayed to have 30 dogs a day, and now we have on average almost 100.
How can we do what we do you might ask? If you look at the graph, there were several
months when we ranged from 100-1000 dogs a month. We learned a lot in these
months. We created policies and procedures, staff training guides, attended pet
seminars, and first aid classes. I knew once people heard about our facility,
came in, and experienced the difference of the ULD team, we would get busy. And
we did. My manager Abi, and assistant manager Natalie have been with me since
day 1, and we truly have created a family at ULD. I attribute our success to
our amazing and dedicated staff. They love all of the dogs so much and I can
say without any hesitation all of us love coming to work at ULD each day. I
also attribute our success to our loyal clients. We would not be where we are
today without you. Your reviews, your recommendations, and the fact that you
come back to ULD day after day, week after week, makes us who we are, and I
thank you from the bottom of my heart. Thank you for reading. ;-) Please email
me at angelique@ulddenver.com if
you ever have any questions or concerns, as I am here for you.

Got Great New Ideas at The Pet Boarding & Daycare Expo
Abi and I just got back from Baltimore, Maryland. We were
fortunate enough to attend the first ever Pet Boarding & Daycare
Expo.

Every seminar was tailored to our business and we came back
with tons of new ideas to make ULD an even better facility. The most
significant idea we brought back, was to expand to offer Cat Boarding. Cat
Condos have already been ordered and we hope to have this service up and running
right after the new year.
